How can I read the code?

To determine when the product was made, look at the production code stamped on the bottom of the can. The first line starts with the letter A. The second letter represents the month of production: A, the first letter of the alphabet, represents January; B, the second letter, represents February; C, the third letter, represents March; and so on, through L, the 12th letter, representing the 12th month, December. X is used in place of I to represent the ninth month, September. The next two digits represent the day, and the last number represents the last digit of the year.

For example: The code B182—B stands for February, the 18 is the 18th day of the month, and the 2 stands for 2002. Therefore, B182 was made on February 18, 2002.

Do I need to shake the can before I use it?

Yes; all varieties of PAM® need to be shaken prior to use.

Is PAM® gluten-free?

PAM® Original, PAM® Butter, and PAM® Olive Oil do not contain any ingredients derived from wheat products. However, PAM® Baking is not gluten-free, as it contains real flour, which is derived from wheat.

Is there MSG in the natural flavors?

No, PAM® does not contain MSG.

What type of olive oil is in PAM® Olive Oil cooking spray?

Only extra-virgin olive oil is used in this PAM® product. In fact, this gives it a distinct olive-oil fragrance.

Is there lactose in any of the PAM® products?
