GARLIC BREAD:
2 tablespoons Earth Balance® Original Buttery Spread, melted
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/8 teaspoon parsley flakes
4 slices Italian bread (1/2-inch thick)
BURGERS:
1 tablespoon Earth Balance® Original Buttery Spread
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 pkg (8 oz each) Gardein® Ultimate Italian Style Chickpea Burgers
1/2 cup Hunt's® Traditional Pasta Sauce
8 rings Vlasic® Mild Yellow Banana Pepper Rings
2 slices mozzarella cheese or vegan alternative

GARLIC BREAD: Preheat oven to 400°F. Stir together melted Earth Balance, 1 clove garlic and parsley in small bowl. Brush bread with garlic spread and place on baking sheet. Bake until toasted and lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes, turning once.
BURGERS: Melt 1 tablespoon Earth Balance in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and garlic to skillet and sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes. Remove mushrooms from pan.
Cook chickpea burgers in skillet according to package directions. Place burgers on garlic bread and top with pasta sauce, mushrooms, banana peppers and cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, about a minute. Top with second slice of garlic bread and serve your chickpea burgers with additional pasta sauce for dipping, if desired.
